Overview

North Karnataka has innumerable sites in the Temple Map of Karnataka, India, with its some of its still surviving monuments going back to the 7th century AD. The Badami Chalukyas were the builders of rock cut caves and ancient temple complexes. At Pattadakal, there are Temples in the Dravidian style along with Temples in styles that were later adopted in Eastern and Central India. The sculptural quality in these temples is outstanding. The Badami Chalukyas were succeeded by the Rashtrakutas and the Kalyani Chalukyas.The Vijayanagar Empire marks the period of great Temple building activity in Karnataka and these temples are characterized by the building of pillared mandapas and lofty entrance towers The Vijayanagar Empire was destroyed by the Deccan Sultanates in the 16th century and the ruins can be seen at Hampi.

Day 1 Pick up from home at 8 am. Proceed to Solapur(5 hrs) Lunch at Solapur. Proceed to Bijapur. (2 hrs) Arrive Bijapur, Check in Visit GolGhumat. Bijapur
Day 2 Breakfast. 9.00 to 13.00 - Sightseeing Bijapur. Lunch. Check out and proceed to Badamee. On the way, visit Almatti Dam and Kudal Sangam. Arrive Badamee, Check in and Dinner. Badami
Day 3 Breakfast. 9.00 to 13.00 - Visit Badami caves. Lunch 14.00 to 18.00 – Visit Patdakkal and Ahiole. Dinner. Badami
Day 4 Breakfast. Check out. Visit Shakambhari Temple. Proceed to Hampi. Arrive Hampi, Lunch and Check in. 15.00 to 16.00 – Rest. 16.00 to 18.00 – Visit Tungabhadra Dam and Gardens. Dinner. Hampi
Day 5 Bed Tea, Breakfast, Check out. Full day–Sightseeing Hampi. Lunch at Hampi. Dinner. Hampi
Day 6 Breakfast, Check out. Proceed to Pune via Hubli, Kolhapur. Lunch on the way. Arrive Pune. Drop at Home. -------

  • By paying booking amount of 50% or Rs. 10,000 per person whichever is less you may reserve your seat.The rest of the amount has to be paid at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
