Overview

Orissa is one of the most interesting states in East India. The State is predominantly rural but industrialisation is changing its face. Bhubaneshwar is the modern capital of Orissa. Orissa is known for the famous Sun Temple at Konark and Jagannath Temple in Puri. Although, Orissa is one of the least visited states of India, it is also easily accessible. Orissa lies just south of the Tropic of Cancer and is very warm throughout the year. The best season to visit Orissa is from October to March.
The principal tourist attractions of Orissa are the temple towns of Puri and Bhubaneshwar and Konark. These three tourist attractions form a convenient and compact little golden triangle. Bhubaneshwar, Puri and Konark are easily accessible by rail and road. The Jagannath Temple in Puri, Sun Temple in Konark, Lingaraj and Raja Rani Temple in Bhubaneshwar and Chandrabhaga and Puri Beaches are a few main attractions of the region.

Day 1 Arrive Bhubaneswar & proceed to Hotel, Check in. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 2 After Breakfast, visit Nandankanan wild life sanctuary. Lunch at Nandankanan Zoo. Visit Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 3 Breakfast & Check out. Proceed to Konark (65 kms). Visit Konark Sun Temple (35 kms). Lunch. Proceed to Puri.Visit Jagannath Temple. Visit Potters’ village. Evening – Free to relax on Puri. Overnight at Puri.
Day 4 After breakfast, visit Chilka Lake (40 kms). Boat ride at Satpada to spot Dolphins. Lunch at Chilka. Visit Raghurajpur Artisans’ Village. Return to Puri.Evening – Free to relax on Puri Beach. Overnight at Puri.
Day 5 After breakfast check out and Proceed to Bhubaneswar. Visit Pipli appliqué centre. Visit Dhauli Peace Pagoda. Lunch at Bhubaneswar. Dep. Bhubaneswar as per rail or flight schedule. Tour Ends on a happy note.
