Overview

Situated in the luminous state of Rajasthan, Ranthambhore is an abode to the mighty predators that are tigers. The royalty of the state is reflected in the park too, through the landscape and the existing wildlife. The Ranthambhore fort arises proudly in the park as a jewel in the crown. The tigers, which are the current rulers of the forest, roam about freely to protect their fort and the kingdom. You can come face to face with these tigers in the safaris that can take 20 people or 6 people at a time, in an open safari ride. Make sure you browse through the history and the tales of Ranthambhore, one page at a time. The chapters include the tigers, the fort, the nilgai, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital. And we can’t dare to leave out the exceptional flora and fauna that challenge the harsh weather conditions that the state throws upon them. One of them grew to be amongst the largest banyan trees in the country! Don’t waste time in thinking twice. Hop on one of those safaris and slowly relish each chapter.

Ranthambhore

5 Nights / 6 Days

Day 1 Departure from Pune to Mumbai by a private bus. Board train to Sawai Madhopur at night. Overnight train travel.
Day 2 Arrival at Sawai Madhopur by noon. Travel to Ranthambhore (20 mins by road). Check in to the resort at Ranthambhore by 1300 hrs. Lunch followed by some rest. Visit to Ranthambhore fort in the evening. Orientation session in the evening which will help us to get a brief idea about Ranthambhore National Park and its biodiversity. Overnight stay at Ranthambhore.
Day 3 Explore different parts of Ranthambhore National Park on morning and evening safaris. Group discussion in the evening about the wildlife observed during first two safaris. All meals and stay at Ranthambhore.
Day 4 Morning and evening safaris at Ranthambhore. All meals and stay at Ranthambhore.
Day 5 One more safari in the morning. Free time to pack-up. Post lunch check out by 1030 hrs and proceed to Sawai Madhopur. Board train to Pune. Overnight train travel.
Day 6 Arrival at Pune by afternoon.
